- Supporting childcare and FamTech innovators solving entrenched formal and informal childcare challenges facing NYC families and providing a new vision for caregiving-focused design.

Internship Description
The NYCEDC Childcare Innovation Lab (CIL) team is seeking a passionate Public Service Scholar Fellow to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team committed to making New York City a more prosperous place to live and work. CIL is working to secure NYC’s position as a leading hub for childcare thought leadership and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to work on an exciting and creative project within the NYC Economic Development Corporation EDC) and to work with a wide variety of EDCers from across many departments!
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in economic development, public policy, social impact, women’s rights, entrepreneurship, NYC government, and/or business development
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
- Proactive self-starter and team player; able to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Research, partnership presentation, event planning, and social media skills preferred
