We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Risk Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist in analyzing data to help drive business decisions and optimize performance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, work with large datasets, and learn from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and pre-process large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Assist in developing predictive models and statistical analyses to support business strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests as needed.
  • Help improve data collection processes, automation, and overall data integrity.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  •  Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data manipulation and querying in SQL.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
  •  Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a plus.
