How are you involved with the Keller Center?
I have participated in two summer programs sponsored by the Keller Center during my time at Princeton (REACH Hong Kong in 2018, and PSIP-Shanghai in 2019). These programs were by far the two best summers I have ever had. The opportunity to do world-class research (REACH), the chance to intern at a technology startup (PSIP), while living with a Princeton cohort, in two mega-cities that are bustling with fun and excitement, what could make a summer better than this? I am truly grateful to the Keller Center, because such opportunities I could not have dreamed of enjoying on my own.

A couple of weeks into the PSIP-Shanghai program in 2019, our main contact in Shanghai, James Mi *91, organized a cruise for the Princeton cohort along with any Princeton alumni who happened to be living/working in the Shanghai area. What resulted was an unforgettable evening of bonding and conversation. The alumni cruise demonstrated the strength and sense of community in the global network of Princeton alumni, and now when I look back, I see that without the effort of everyone involved, without the efforts of the Keller Center, we could never have had such a magical and unforgettable experience.
How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?
The Keller Center has opened my mind to what’s possible. College is not just a place where you get a degree and a job offer. If you want to do world-class research abroad, there are opportunities for that. If you want to work in a startup environment and be in the middle of the excitement, there are numerous programs and numerous people that can help you realize that goal. The Keller Center has helped me realize that resources are everywhere, and I have learned to take advantage of what's available to do the best that I can.
