How are you involved with the Keller Center?

I'm working in Tiger Challenge in a group with five other people. Our project is called Climate Change and Vulnerabilities. We focus on flood emergency preparedness and response in the Trenton and Princeton area for vulnerable populations. Our project uses the design thinking process to work through this challenge.

What do you appreciate most about the Keller Center?

I appreciate that the Keller Center involves so many people doing such different projects in the same space. We're all committed to improving life for someone. We're just focusing on different demographics and different needs.

How have you benefited from your involvement with the Keller Center?

My time in Tiger Challenge has really opened my eyes to the local community in Princeton. Because of my research, I am more in touch with the concerns of the people who live around me that I don't interact as much with. Before, I saw the University as an isolated environment where my peers and I would spend most of the year learning and spending time with each other. Now, the school is a rich community that is part of a larger population. This realization really hit home for me because of my work at the Keller Center.
