Araoz proposes to usher theatre into a new era where it is written and directed to be performed virtually, and to elicit, and respond to feedback from massive, live audiences spread across the globe. Such “socially distant performances” open up entirely new possibilities of artistic expression and transform passive consumers of online content to active participants engaging from their socio-political positions. The Design for Innovation team will help Araoz deliver the technological and pedagogical platform to enable creators all over the world to stage virtual productions.
