The Keller Center, the Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network, and Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in conjunction with Princeton's Office of Technology Licensing, held the 5th Annual Innovation Forum, on April 8, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. Presentations were held in Princeton University's Friend Center Auditorium (101) with a poster session and reception following in the Friend Center Convocation Room (113). The event was free and open to the public.
The purpose of the Innovation Forum is to showcase Princeton research that offers the potential to be commercialized. Audience members included angel investors, venture capitalists, students, faculty, staff, and members of the Princeton area entrepreneurial community. Prize money totaling $40,000 was awarded to the top three entries.
Each presenter submitted a two-page executive summary to the judges in advance and had three minutes to present their innovation to a panel of six judges. The presentation session was followed by a poster session and reception in the Friend Center Convocation Room. The first prize was awarded to Hahn Kim for OrgCast, the second prize to John Groves for HepatoChem and the third prize to Niraj Jha for A new Dynamically Reconfigurable Field-Programmable Gate Array.
